M6 west, or M6 east get off at junction 4
At top of slip road turn to the south onto A446 (duel carriageway). This becomes the
A452 Turn left at junction with A45 (Stonebridge Island) towards Coventry.(Duel carriageway).
After no more than one mile turn left into Shepherds Lane Important do not miss this turn as
there is no gap in the central reservation for u turns for miles and miles. Follow lane (shortly
turning left at tee junction) for approx 1.25 to 1.50 miles, until you see a modern type telephone
box on corner of tee junction on right hand side.
Turn right at this tee junction. Follow lane for about a mile and look for (if lucky) a sign
(home made) indicating a left turn. It may be one of John Holders rubber crows on a stick,
or a folded target face etc. Turn left here, onto a farmers track,( you may need to open a
gate or two), follow track across bridge back over M6.
Bear to your left carry on along track until you see other cars and find a parking spot.
Please refer to last paragraph at end of these directions

M42 swings to the north.(other two lanes intended for going straight on to become the M40
going south east.) Off at junction 6 turn right now going east joining the A45 towards Coventry.
Cross A452 at Stonebridge island.still on A45.(At this point you will be on an overpass with
Stonebridge Island beneath you ) Look out for Shepherds Lane on left hand side. Turn left
and now follow same route from other locations detailed above.
Hope these directions are ok, check them out with your road map.Left turn at Shepherds
Lane should be the first proper left turn after Stonebridge Island and just after one of the
entrances to Packington Hall
